Un moment de détente au SPA du Bristol Harbour Hotel // A moment of relaxation on the spa at the Bristol harbour hotel

Rien de mieux après une semaine de boulot intense pour se faire plaisir et surtout profiter de ce moment de détente au Bristol Harbour Hotel Spa qui est situé en plein centre ville. Mon dernier moment de détente remonte à quelques semaines en Islande lorsque j'étais au bains chauds de Fontana et qu'est ce que j'ai aimé !! Alors pourquoi ne pas essayer ce Spa dans cet hôtel luxueux et sympathique.

Nothing better after a week of intense work to reward myself and especially enjoy this relaxing moment at the Bristol Harbour Hotel  Spa which is located in the city center. My last moment of relaxation goes back a few weeks ago in Iceland when I was in the hot baths of Fontana and what I liked !! So why not try this spa in this lovely and luxury hotel.

Arrivée à 16h30 sur place, je savais que j'avais devant moi 2 heures pour découvrir et profiter du Spa qui est situé dans un magnifique bâtiment. Je découvre l'accueil principal et chaleureux joliment décoré comme j'aime. Pour atteindre le Spa, il m'a suffit de descendre les escaliers et de ressentir au fur et à mesure cette chaleur mais surtout les couleurs apaisantes qui me disaient déjà que j'allais passer un doux moment. Une fois passé l'accueil, le tour des différentes salles et les explications nécessaires, j'ai en ma possession des chaussons tout doux et un peignoir. Direction le vestiaire des femmes qui possèdent 2 douches, un sèche-cheveux, des casiers sécurisés, des toilettes, des miroirs et lavabos et même une machine pour essorer le maillot de bain (j'ai découvert cela en Islande et c'est vraiment génial !!) Il est de même pour les hommes. Tout est parfaitement équipé. 

Me voilà enfin prête pour entrer dans ce Spa situé dans une voute datant du 16ème siècle et qui a été récemment restaurée. 

I arrived at 4:30 pm I knew that I had for me 2 hours to discover and enjoy the Spa which is located in this magnificent building. I enter through the main entrance and I discover the warm and beautifully decorated main home as I love. To go to the Spa  I had to go down the stairs and to feel as this heat but especially the sweet colors that already told me that I was going to spend a sweet moment. Once past the reception the tour of the different rooms and the necessary explanations I have in my possession soft slippers and a bathrobe. Head to the women's locker room which has 2 showers, a hair dryer, secure lockers, toilets, mirrors and sinks and even a machine to spin the swimsuit (I discovered this in Iceland and it's really great !!) It's the same for men. Everything is perfectly equipped.

I am finally ready to enjoy this Spa located in a vault dating from the 16th century and recently restored. 

Me voilà enfin prête et j'ai hâte de mettre dans le bain directement. Mais avant, il est fortement conseillé de prendre une douche. Dans cette salle voûtée on y retrouve une piscine, un jacuzzi, un sauna et un hammam ainsi qu'un grand fauteuil-lit pour vous reposer tranquillement. Vraiment l'endroit est incroyable ! L'eau de la piscine était à mon goût un petit peu fraîche mais j'ai aimé me détendre et à m'assoupir légèrement. 

Here I am finally ready to open the door and especially put me in the bath directly. But before it is strongly advised to take a shower. In this vaulted room you will find a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna and a hammam as well as a place of relaxation to rest quietly. Really the place is amazing ! The water in the pool was to my taste a little bit to cold but I liked to relax and having a little snooze.

Curieuse comme je suis, j'ai voulu refaire un petit tour et on peut retrouver notamment une salle de sport équipée ainsi qu'une salle de gym où chaque semaine des cours y sont dispensés. Je trouve cela chouette car même si on est juste un simple client profitant du Spa, on peut aussi profiter de ces 2 salles de sport. Ah oui un détail qui m'avait surpris, c'était ces énormes portes blindées et en posant la question, j'ai pu apprendre que l'hôtel était anciennement la Lloyds banque. C'est marrant non ;-) Et sachez aussi que le Spa possède une cabine de soins de beauté https://www.bristol-harbour-hotel.co.uk/spa/treatments/ 
La carte est variée et surtout chacun peut trouver le soin qui lui convient que ce soit un simple soin du visage par exemple ou bien un soin spécial femme enceinte. Pour ceux qui voudraient combiner à la fois Spa et gym tout le temps et bien c'est possible grâce  au pass qui donne un accès illimité https://www.bristol-harbour-hotel.co.uk/spa/membership/  Je trouve cela plutôt cool car plusieurs formules de prix y sont proposées et chacun peut choisir selon son emploi du temps, ce qui lui convient. Etre un membre donne aussi droit à different avantages comme par exemple 10% sur les produits de beauté du Spa, etc. 

Curious as I am I wanted to do a little tour and we can find in this place including a gym equipped and a room where every week classes are given. I find it nice because even if we are just a simple customer we can enjoying the Spa plus we can also enjoy these 2 things. Oh yes one detail that surprised me was these huge armored doors and asking the question, I learned that the hotel was formerly Lloyds bank. Je vous invite vivement si vous êtes de passage à Bristol à prendre un moment pour vous car cet endroit vaut le détour. Et puis la St Valentin approche...Le personnel est au petit soin et surtout le Spa est un endroit où l'on peut se reposer et se relaxer. J'ai apprécié aussi le fait qu'il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde ce qui rend le moment encore plus à soi ;-)

I urge you if you are visiting Bristol to take a moment for you because this place is worth seeing.
