When I talk about Kimono I think of Japan, my travels in this country which in my eyes is the most magical ! Just to talk about it I have stars in my heart. This country fascinates me so much if you knew.
It was a while that I wanted to share with you and especially to show you all my kimonos that I could find by chance in Tokyo and Nara. They each have a story and when I wear them it's a real pleasure. They are all vintage and they have lived well. I wear them especially when I have a party as a jacket as in the photos.
My white kimono and the black kimono were bought from a little grandpa in Tokyo who had a stand there. There were so many !! I loved the grounds but especially the fact that these 2 kimonos are thick and warm. What about the other kimono I found in Nara last summer in a shop in a shōtengai (it's a covered street with shops and is often located next to a train station). It is also vintage but much lighter to wear and very nice for summer or spring.
I now let you discover them and who knows for Christmas it can give you ideas for your look ;-) So what is your favorite?

Forcement quand je vous parle de Kimono, je pense au Japon, à mes voyages dans ce pays qui à mes yeux est le plus magique ! Rien que d'en parler, j'ai des étoiles dans mon coeur. Ce pays me fascine tant si vous saviez.
Cela faisait un moment que j'avais envie de vous partager et surtout de vous montrer mes kimonos que j'ai pu trouver par chance à Tokyo et Nara. Ils ont chacun une histoire et quand je les porte c'est un vrai plaisir. Ils sont tous vintage et ils ont d'ailleurs bien vécu. Je les porte surtout lorsque j'ai une soirée en guise de veste comme sur les photos.
Mon kimono blanc ainsi que le kimono noir ont été acheté chez un petit papy à Tokyo qui y tenait un stand. Il y en avait tellement !! J'ai adoré les motifs mais surtout le fait que ces 2 kimonos sont épais et chaud. Quand à l'autre kimono que j'ai trouvé à Nara l'été dernier dans une boutique situé dans un shōtengai (c'est une rue couverte qui abrite des commerces et qui est très souvent situé à côté d'une station de train). Il est aussi vintage mais beaucoup plus léger à porter et très sympa pour l'été ou le printemps.
Je vous laisse maintenant les découvrir et qui sait pour Noël cela peut vous donner des idées pour votre look ;-) Alors quel est votre préféré ?
