Il y a maintenant quelques semaines, j'ai pu voir cette exposition au MSHED sur le Harbourside à Bristol. C'est une expo présentant 12 squelettes humains qui ont été retrouvés à Bristol et à Londres. Chacun de ces squelettes ont une histoire personnelle et c'est cela qui est intéressant ! En effet, les os ont parlé et peuvent révéler des histoires incroyables.
J'ai pu découvrir des squelettes d'hommes, de femmes, d'enfants et certains d'entre eux ont été bien conservés. Cela est assez impressionnant mais très enrichissant.
Weeks ago I was able to see at the MSHED an exhibition on the Harbourside in Bristol.
It is an exhibition presenting 12 human skeletons that were found in Bristol and London. Each of these skeletons has a personal story and that's what's interesting ! Indeed the bones have spoken and can reveal incredible stories.
I could discover skeletons of men, women, children and some of them have been well preserved. This is quite impressive but very rewarding.
Dès que vous arrivez au dernier étage du MSHED, il y a cette grande salle où la lumière assez sombre mais douce présente si bien les squelettes.
Chaque squelette à sa propre histoire et tout est si bien expliqué. Une fois que vous avez fait le tour, il faut pas hésiter à aller dans cette petite salle au fond spécialement conçue pour les enfants. On y découvre comment reconnaître un squelette féminin et masculin, on va aussi retrouver des anecdotes et des vidéos explicatives. J'ai eu l'impression d'être dans un laboratoire et c'est justement cela qui m'a donné envie d'en savoir plus et d'apprécier cette exposition.
Je vous invite fortement à y jeter un oeil et prendre le temps de connaitre ces différentes histoires. Cette expo qui est gratuite, ne fait pas du tout peur et elle est adaptée au enfants. Allez y vite si vous êtes à Bristol car elle se termine ce dimanche.

As soon as you reach the top floor of the MSHED, there is a room where the light is dark but soft and presents the skeletons so well.
Each skeleton has its own history and everything is so well explained. Once you have made the tour you must not hesitate to go in this little room at the bottom specifically designed for children. We discover how to recognize a female and male skeleton, we will also find anecdotes and explanatory videos. I felt like I was in a laboratory and that's what made me want to know more and appreciate this exhibition.
I urge you to take a look and take the time to know these different stories. This exhibition is free and is not at all afraid and it is adapted to children. Go there quickly if you are in Bristol as it ends this Sunday.
