Just a week ago I was in London to finally see this famous Christian Dior exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. And even today when I write this post I have stars in my eyes because it was so magical !! I want to tell you that this is one of the best expo I've seen.
I did a return trip by train in a day from Bristol. I booked everything last January to be sure to have my tickets because today everything is sold out. For those who do not have the chance to go I just share my experience and especially these photos that remind me how much this day was amazing !
Whether you are a fan of fashion or not at all you absolutely must see this exhibition because the story of Christian Dior is part of the French culture. This designer was a magician and everything is exceptional. It's just crazy this man had all this creativity in is mind. Nothing is left to chance because even those who do not know Christian Dior, we learn a lot about him.
What I really like is the staging of each room that reflects so well over the years his art and progress in collections. It's even moving to discover all her dresses since the begining. Each room is unique and each time, I had this little cry of joy like "Wow" !! The only downside is that this exhibition is so popular that sometimes you have to make a place to see the clothes so closely because there is too much people. But apart from that it was a very nice moment and I took around 2 hours 30 min to understand and especially enjoy each of the outfits made by Monsieur Dior. Then we can also sit in some rooms to rest a little bit of all emotions.
As soon as you finish your visit I urge you to go through the gift shop because if like me you are a fan of Dior then you will find your happiness.

Il y a tout juste une semaine, j'étais à Londres pour enfin voir cette fameuse exposition sur Christian Dior au Victoria and Albert Museum dans le quartier de South Kensington. Et encore aujourd'hui lorsque j'écris cet article, j'ai des étoiles dans les yeux tellement c'était magique !! J'ai envie de vous dire que c'est même l'une des meilleures expo que j'ai vu.
J'ai fait l'aller-retour en train en une journée depuis Bristol. J'ai tout acheté au mois de janvier afin d'être sûre d'avoir mes billets car aujourd'hui tout est sold-out. Pour ceux qui n'ont pas la chance de pouvoir y aller, je vous partage mon expérience et surtout ces photos qui me rappellent tant combien cette journée était top !
Que l'on soit fan de mode ou pas du tout, il faut absolument voir cette exposition car l'histoire de Christian Dior fait parti de la culture Française. Elle met si bien en valeur cet homme mais surtout son savoir-faire qui est exceptionnel. Rien n'est laissé au hasard car même celui ou celle qui ne connait pas Christian Dior, on y apprend beaucoup de choses sur lui.
Ce que j'ai beaucoup aimé c'est la mise en scène de chaque pièces qui reflète si bien au fil des années son art et sa progression au niveau des collections. C'est même émouvant de découvrir toutes ses robes depuis ses débuts. Chaque pièce est unique et à chaque fois, j'avais ce petit cri de joie genre "Wow" !! Le seul petit bémol est que cette exposition est si populaire que parfois il faut se faire une place pour voir de près les vêtements tellement il y a de monde. Mais mis à part cela, ce fut un très beau moment où j'ai bien pris 2h30 pour comprendre et surtout profiter de chacune de des tenues réalisées par Monsieur Dior. Et puis, on peu aussi s'assoir dans certaines pièces pour se reposer un peu de toutes ses émotions.
Dès que vous aurez fini votre visite, je vous incite à passer par la boutique de souvenirs car si comme moi vous êtes fan de Dior alors vous trouverez votre bonheur.
