Cela fait un bail que je n'ai pas posté sur mon blog...Un nouveau pays, une nouvelle culture, une recherche de boulot et cela prend beaucoup de temps. Et puis aujourd'hui c'est différent ! J'ai un nouveau job et la vie me plaît bien chez les English alors j'ai juste envie de découvrir et de profiter de cette nouvelle vie ici. Même si en ce moment c'est la canicule, ouais enfin façon de parler car la canicule anglaise tourne aux alentours de 17-20 degrés. Trop chaud ici pour un mois de juillet et le tout accompagné de vent, de pluie fine et de collants bien chaud !! En attendant le mois de septembre pour partir quelques jours en vacances dans un pays où il fait plus froid :-) je partage avec vous en ce dimanche pluvieux, ma journée d'hier au "Bristol Harbour Festival".
It's been a while since I have not posted on my blog ... A new country, a new culture, a research of job and it takes me a long time. And now it is different ! I have a new job and I appreciate my english life. So I just wanted to discover and enjoy this new life here. Although right now it's the heat wave in Bristol and the heat wave turns around 17-20 degrees. Too hot here for a july's month and all accompanied by wind, fine and warm sticky rain !! I am waiting the month of September for a short vacation in a country where it is colder :-) I share with you in a rainy Sunday my day yesterday at the "Bristol Harbour Festival".
Ce festival prend ses marques chaque année dans la ville et cela devient un succès florissant car de plus en plus de personnes viennent ici pour voir les bateaux, les nombreuses animations autour du port mais aussi les nombreux stand de nourritures où l'on peut retrouver une cuisine espagnole, libanaise, italienne, asiatique, etc. Et j'ai même trouvé un stand de tartiflette pour tout vous dire. Je trouve qu'avoir un point d'eau dans une ville est un plus et c'est vraiment agréable d’entendre les mouettes à chaque coin de la ville. J'aime quand Bristol est en effervescence et surtout je me suis aperçue du nombre de personne qui vivent ici aujourd'hui. La ville est si jolie quand le soleil est là.
Armée d'un guide et avec mes ami(e)s nous avons déambulés dans les différents coins aux alentours du port. En faisant bien évidemment un stop aux stands de nourritures où là j'ai mangé la meilleure "Pasteis de nata". Cette célèbre douceur portugaise cuite au four sur place et croustillante à souhait. J'étais tellement déçue de mes noodles aux légumes que j'étais si heureuse de manger cela en dessert.
The festival is here every year in the city and it becomes a flourishing success as more and more people come here to see the boats, the many events around the harbor but also the food stands where we can regain Spanish cuisine, Lebanese, Italian, Asian and another. I even found a french tartiflette booth to tell you everything. I find that having a water point in a city is a plus and it's really nice to hear the seagulls at each corner of the city. I love when Bristol is booming and especially I realized the number of people who live here today. The town is so pretty when the sun is here!
Armed with a guide and with my friends, we walked in various corners around the harbour. By obviously we make a stop where I eaten the best "Pasteis de nata". This famous Portuguese sweetness baked on site and crisp to perfection. I was so disappointed with my noodles with vegetables that I was so happy to eat this dessert.
Grâce aux photos, vous pouvez voir que c'est un festival très chaleureux et qu'il vaut vraiment le coup d'oeil. J'ai passé un super moment !! A très bientôt sur le blog pour un autre article ;-)
