Préparer un voyage est important car cela me permet d'en apprendre plus sur la ville ou le pays que je vais visiter. Mais surtout en préparant j'ai cette sensation de projection, de projet dans le futur et ça c'est plutôt chouette.
Après avoir effectué plusieurs recherches sur le net pour plannifier quelques visites, je suis tombé sur plusieurs articles de Blog qui m'ont amené au site de CityPass (version française et traduite en plusieurs langues) http://fr.citypass.com/new-york .
Pourquoi j'ai choisi ce site pour acheter mes billets ?
Bien évidemment j'avais déjà en tête les visites que je voulais faire durant ma courte aventure New-Yorkaise. Et c'est vrai que Citypass, c'est ultra simple à comprendre et surtout bon marché comparé à d'autres sites du même genre.
J'avais donc choisit le pass C3 c'est à dire que parmi les 6 attractions que propose le site, j'ai pu choisir et acheter facilement mes 3 attractions : Ellis Island, Le mémorial du 11 septembre et l'Empire State Building.
Si vous hésitez entre plusieurs attractions, vous pourrez lire quelques phrases explicatives comme par exemple sur Ellis Island et voir une video. Cela aide à la décision finale avant d'acheter son billet.
Il me semble avoir payé au total 63$ pour le pass C3 (environ £51) et surtout j'ai pu imprimer de suite l'email qui est à la fois le billet et le coupe file pour chaque visite. Imprimer le en 2 fois au cas où ;-)
C'est un vrai gain de temps et pratique puisque sur d'autres sites, il fallait se rendre à un point A pour aller chercher ses billets. Sachez que vous avez aussi la possibilité de choisir entre l'envoi du pass par voie postale si vous vous y prenez assez longtemps à l'avance.
Preparing a trip is important as it allows me to learn more about the city or the country that I am going to visit. But especially when I am preparing I have this feeling of projection in the future and that is very cool.

Why did I choose this site to buy my tickets?
Of course I already had in mind the visits I wanted to make during my short adventure New York. And it is true that Citypass is ultra simple to understand and especially cheap compared to other sites of the same kind. So I choose the C3 pass that is to say that of the 6 attractions that the site offers, I could easily choose and buy my 3 attractions: Ellis Island, The Memorial of September 11 and the Empire State Building.
If you hesitate between several attractions, you can read some explanatory sentences like for example on Ellis Island and see video. This helps in the final decision before buying his ticket. Maintenant commençons avec mon rêve de gosse ELLIS ISLAND: Confortablement installée sur le pont du bateau à essayer de mitrailler tant bien que mal Madame Liberté (qui se trouve sur Liberty Island), je m'approche pas à pas d'Ellis Island si bien connu pour être le centre de reception des immigrés à New-York (de 1892 à 1954). Depuis que j'avais étudié son histoire en cours d'anglais il me semble, je m'étais toujours qu'un jour j'irai visiter ce centre car son histoire est si passionnante. Comme quoi il ne faut jamais s'arrêter de rêver.
Pour se rendre à Ellis Island il faut prendre un ferry qui d'abord fait un stop sur Liberty Island (entrée comprise avec le Citypass). J'avais pris la decision de ne pas m'arrêter car mon souhait était de passer du temps sur Ellis Island. Et puis voyant si bien depuis le bateau Madame Liberté cela me suffisait car le temps comme vous pouvez le voir est just magnifique.
Now we can start with my childhood dream ELLIS ISLAND:
Comfortably settled on the deck of the boat trying to take lot of picture of Liberty statue (which is on Liberty Island), I approach step by step Ellis Island so well known to be the reception's center of immigration in New-York (from 1892 to 1954). Since I studied his history in English course it seems to me I always knew one day I will visit this center because the history is so exciting. Like what you should never stop dreaming.
To get to Ellis Island you have to take a ferry that first made a stop on Liberty Island (entrance included with the Citypass). I made the decision not to stop because my wish was to spend time on Ellis Island. And then seeing so well since the boat Madame Liberté was enough for me because the weather as you can see is just beautiful.
Le musée est si grand que j'ai essayé de voir un maximum de pièces en un peu plus de 2 heures. Tout est si réaliste entre la chambre commune, la salle où chaque migrant devait passer un interrogatoire, etc. Il y a tellement de choses sont à voir au sein de centre que c'est impossible de rester insensible et de se dire qu'aujourd'hui nous avons la chance de pouvoir partir vivre dans un autre pays sans trop de difficultés.
The museum is so large that I tried to see a maximum of rooms in just over 2 hours. Everything is so realistic between the common room, the room where each migrant was to be interrogated, and much more. There is so much to see within the center that it is impossible to remain insensitive and to say that today we are lucky to be able to leave a life in another country without too much difficulty.
A la fin de la visite, j'au pu faire un tour à la boutique de souvenirs et il y avait des choses très sympa ;-) Et en attendant le bateau du retour, j'ai pu en profiter une fois de plus de ce panorama exceptionnel qu'offre Ellis Island.
At the end of my visit I went to the gift shop and they had cool staff ;-) Also just the time before to have catch the boar I enjoyed one more time to look at this amazing panorama from Ellis Island.
